The goal of The Year of the Open Door Stewardship Initiative is to raise $2.5 million to support the mission and vision of The R.O.C.K. This funding will go towards the expansion of our outreach programs, the development of new facilities, and the improvement of existing ones. It is through your generosity and support that we will be able to reach our target and make a lasting impact in the lives of those around us.

The Year of the Open Door Stewardship Initiative is an opportunity for each of us to make a difference in the world. It’s a chance to demonstrate our love for God and our commitment to His kingdom by giving of our time, talents, and resources. We understand that this is a big goal, but we believe in the power of the community to achieve it together.

With your support, we will be able to fulfill our mission of knowing God, making Him known to others, and spreading the kingdom message around the world. The impact of this initiative will be felt for generations to come, and we invite you to be a part of it.

So what can you do to help? We encourage you to prayerfully consider your contribution to The Year of the Open Door Stewardship Initiative. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a recurring donation, every little bit helps.

Together, let’s make The Year of the Open Door Stewardship Initiative a success and fulfill the mission of The R.O.C.K.!

What We Were Able to Accomplish Because of You!

Join us for another exciting year at Stewardship 2024! We made incredible progress in our ministry and vision in 2023. With over 250 people becoming R.O.C.K. partners and numerous individuals accepting Christ, it was a year of growth and impact. Our mission to serve and support our community led us to launch our after-school care program. Additionally, we renovated our Alvin campus, upgraded technology at our Broadway campus, built a state-of-the-art kitchen, launched the R.O.C.K Early Learning Center, and sustained multiple church campuses and administrative facilities. We also witnessed supernatural miracles, powerful worship experiences, and meaningful outreach in our local community. Our impact extended internationally with missions to Ghana, Nigeria, and education for 500 unserved children in Kenya through the Carson Academy of Kingdom Excellence. Get ready for another transformative year of ministry and vision at Stewardship 2024.

Stewardship Tips

Have you ever heard a phrase like “Not equal gifts, but equal sacrifices” and said to yourself…

  • “If they only knew how little money I have!”
  • “I’m giving all I can, and I can’t give anymore!”
  • “I’m single, going to school, and I’m in debt up to my ears – I can’t give that much!”
  • “I’m a single parent, and I can barely feed by kids. There’s no way I can give to the campaign!”

We got some great news for you – you can sacrifice! We truly do understand your concerns, and we empathize with you! But to help you, we have come up with a list of creative ways to increase your available resources that you just might have overlooked. Click below to see some stewardship tips.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the stewardship initiative begin and end?

The stewardship initiative is a 10-month giving program, with an initial gift that will be sowed on March 5th.

How will I know how much to give?

Pray daily and allow God to open your heart and direct you about your commitment. Through prayer and personal assessment, you will know what to give.

How often do I need to make payments towards my pledge?

You will receive a commitment card and be asked to fill out the card with the amount you intend to give as your “Firstfruits” offering and the balance of your commitment for the program. You may give weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or in a lump sum. We encourage every partner to give monthly on our Vision Sundays in 10% increments or more to complete your pledge before or by the end of the stewardship initiative.

How can I sow toward my pledge?

You can sow through TheROCKWOI.com website by clicking on the “Give” tab and choosing “The Year of the Open Door Stewardship” category. You can also sow via Cash App ($ROCKHQ), Zelle ([email protected]), or text your $ amount to 281.306.4130.

How do I obtain my pledge balance?

Every month statements will be sent out to let you know how much has been paid. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

I'm a new and/or iROCK partner, how do I get involved? Can I take a pledge?

Yes, we invite all R.O.C.K. partners to join us in fulfilling the vision and participating in our stewardship initiative. To take out a pledge, you can complete the commitment card digitally on our website at www.therockwoi.com or request a physical commitment card at guest services.

How can I participate if I am on a fixed income?

Having income of any kind makes you eligible to participate in the stewardship initiative. Pray, believe, and trust God! He will speak to your heart in what to sow during this stewardship initiative.

Does my pledge replace my tithe and offering?

Your commitment to stewardship should be an amount God leads you to give over and above your regular tithe and offerings. In 1 Chronicles 29:3, King David stated, “Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house…”. We want to make sure our regular operating budget still operates as normal during our stewardship initiative.

Why does The R.O.C.K have annual stewardship initiatives?

We have a stewardship initiative every year because of the exciting ministry projects God has given us to spread the gospel all around the world, connect people to their divine purpose, and empower our community.

What is the difference between Commitment Sunday and Celebration Sunday?

Commitment Sunday is when you turn in your digital or physical commitment card to communicate the amount God gave you to sow during this stewardship initiative. Celebration Sunday is when you bring your firstfruits (your first initial deposit) toward your pledge.

Do I have to participate in the stewardship initiative?

Every R.O.C.K. partner should be excited to participate in the stewardship initiative. We have testimony after testimony of partners who are blessed because of their commitment and faithfulness in stewardship. There is power in community when we are on one accord!
