The R.O.C.K. is a Bible-centered, Spirit-filled, community-building, and Kingdom-minded community of faith that is expanding the Kingdom of God one life at a time. The R.O.C.K. appeals to a multi-cultural, multi-generational diverse people who desire to hear sound biblical preaching, enjoy powerful singing, and transformative worship.
What does it mean to be Bible-Centered?
We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). What does it mean to be Spirit-Filled?
The R.O.C.K. is a Spirit-filled ministry that emphasizes the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer as the source of empowerment and effectiveness in evangelism and discipleship.
What does it mean to be community-building?
The R.O.C.K. desires to allow its light to shine that men may see our good works and glorify God as we engage in empowerment and justice ministries (Matthew 5:16).
As a community-building ministry, we take serious the call we have to empower the disfranchised and be an extension of God’s arms and legs in both a local and global aspect.
Global Community-Building
The call of the church is not simply a local call, but it is a global call to take the gospel from Jerusalem to the uttermost parts of the world. At The R.O.C.K., we embrace our global call and have touched the lives of over 500 children in the slums of Mukuru Kwa Njenga in Nairobi, Kenya through the Carson Academy of Kingdom Excellence (C.A.K.E).
