Meet Dr. Carson

Dr. Dana Carson is the founder and senior pastor of the Reflections of Christ’s Kingdom World Outreach International (The R.O.C.K.) in Houston, TX. – a Bible-centered, Spirit-filled, community-building, Kingdom-minded ministry founded in 2003. Dr. Carson has over 38 years of full-time and pastoral ministry experience.

He is one of the nation’s foremost Kingdom theologians and down-to-earth pastors whose radical message and raw delivery are known all over the world. Dr. Carson’s call and purpose is to educate people of every age with the message of the Kingdom of God that is both exegetically sound and spiritually nourishing.

Dr. Carson has an exceptional concern for youth and children and personally invests his life in their training and development. Dr. Carson’s anointing represents a combination of Spirit-filled fire and formal academic training, with a touch of the lessons learned in the ghettos of Chicago. With this rare anointing, he touches the hearts of people from all cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds worldwide.

This has been my place of worship since I graduated from Prairie View College. The pastor, Dr. Dana Carson, has a deep background and understanding of the Bible, and the history and story of this ministry are amazing. My family and I worship here and are blown away by the Word of God, the members we fellowship with, and the outreach programs we do for the community. The ROCK also shows great love and care for children and youth. I love my church and the Word of God that is shared in this ministry.

I joined the ministry simply looking for a place to hear sound biblical teaching, to serve, and to connect with other believers. But to my surprise and delight, God sent me to a ministry that has completely transformed my life in ways that I could never have imagined. Through the worship experience, serving in ministry, hearing the preached Word, and participating in small groups, I have grown so much in my personal relationship with God. My life as a believer has been challenged and completely shifted in the best way possible, and I now live a more fruitful and purposeful life thanks to this ministry. Our ministry provides an abundance of knowledge regarding the Kingdom and biblical truth, led by a pioneer who trains and develops leaders for this generation and generations to come. Our praise and worship is second to none, completely filled with the anointing of God. Furthermore, there is power to break whatever burden or addiction you are facing, making our atmosphere one that you desperately need to be in.
